Angel Locsin ignores Bela Padilla’s invitation to her movie premiere?

Angel Locsin has responded to the rumors that she snubbed Bela Padilla’s invitation to attend the premiere night of the latter’s movie titled “Meet Me in St. Gallen”.

Padilla is Neil Arce’s (Locsin’s current boyfriend) ex.

Locsin confirmed that she was supposed to attend the premiere as she was invited by Padilla and Joyce Bernal, one of the producers of Spring Films which produced the said movie.

“Nag-text siya [Padilla] sa akin, even si Direk Joyce. Kaya lang kasama ko naman ang family ko, pero dapat hahabol talaga ako nung time na yun,” she told PEP.ph.

However, she said that she was not able to make it to the premiere due to heavy traffic.

“Alam mo, walang masamang tinapay si Bella, e. Wala siyang ginawang masama sa akin. Wala akong issue sa kanya,” she said.

Since the two actresses are both under ABS-CBN and Star Cinema, Locsin said that she is willing to work with Padilla. However, she is worried that people will spread unnecessary issues and rumors if they will work together.

“Ako naman sinasabi ko ever since, wala akong issue, wala akong problema talaga. Magaling na artista si Bela at alam ko mahusay makisama din. Why not? Kaya lang naiisip ko, wag lang malagyan ng isyu. Baka imbes na mapansin yung proyekto, imbes na happy set, baka magkaroon ng issues,” she said.

Locsin also commended Padilla’s talent in writing. She said that she was able to read the script of the movie “Last Night” which starred Toni Gonzaga and Piolo Pascual.

The screenplay of the said movie was written by Padilla.

“Na-impress ako kay Bela. Una kong nakita, first draft pa lang niya dun sa movie nila Toni and Piolo, una kong nabasa yung script nun,” she said.
