Spice Girls to stage reunion concert?

The iconic 90’s girl group Spice Girls have announced last week that they are planning a reunion for the first time in six years.

Spice Girls members, namely Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham, Melanie “Sporty Spice” Chisholm, Emma “Baby Spice” Bunton, Melanie “Scary Spice” Brown and Geri “Ginger Spice” Horner, have confirmed that they will be working on “new opportunities” after they have posted photos with their former manager, Simon Fuller.

“We have enjoyed a wonderful afternoon catching up and reminiscing about the amazing times we have spent together.

“We are always overwhelmed at how much interest there is across the whole world for Spice Girls.

“The time now feels right to explore some incredible new opportunities together.

“We all agree that there are many exciting possibilities that will once again embrace the original essence of The Spice Girls, while reinforcing our message of feminine empowerment for future generations,” the girl group said in a statement which was released by their publicist.

The five members of the girl group have also updated their Instagram accounts by posting photos of their meeting.

The iconic group was at their prime in the 90’s after their first single “Wannabe” became the most successful song released by an all-female group.

They are recognized as one of the best-selling girl groups of all time having sold more than 85 million albums worldwide.

The most recent reunion of the Spice Girls, which were first formed in 1994, was back in 2012 when they performed at the London 2012 Olympics.
