Rafael Rosell vents frustration over 5 years delay of contractor to finish his house

Actor Rafael Rosell is running out of patience because of the delay in the construction of his house in Antipolo.

In an interview with PEP, the 35-year-old actor said that the construction of the house started five years ago.

“Bago sana ang bahay, kaya lang, five years to build, so luma na siya. Ngayon naman, tatlo, apat na buwan na naming hinihintay na mag-install ng kuryente ang Meralco,” he said full of frustration.

Rosell said he wants to publicly call out the people responsible for the delays.

“Ang tagal ko nang gustong mag-open up sa press or tawagan si Tulfo, pero anong magagawa nun, di ba?” he said.

Rosell also revealed that problems with the contractor is the cause of the several delays.

“Sabi nila matatapos within a year, then after another six months nang six months.

Rosell said that construction of the house started when he moved to GMA-7 in 2012. His second three-year contract with GMA is about to end but the house is still not finished.

“Doon ko pa lang sinimulan ang bank loan ko, at sabi ko, ‘Okay, it’s gonna be five years of hard work, pero nakatira na ako sa sarili kong bahay.’

“Pero five years, nakatira pa rin ako sa condo at matatapos na ako sa March sa bank loan ko, hindi pa rin ako nakakalipat sa bahay ko,” he said.

Nevertheless, Rosell remains hopeful that his house will be finished in time.

“I’m holding on to this hope na the harder you struggle for something, the greater the reward, di ba?

“I’m just looking forward to the positive experience with the house and the long wait I know will be worth it.

“And whatever benefits the house will reap, i-e-enjoy ko talaga to the fullest yun,” he said.
