Kris Aquino did not let this one slip.
An online troll on Instagram referred to Erich Gonzales as Director Paul Soriano’s mistress and a family wrecker.
Paul is married to actress and singer Toni Gonzaga with whom he has one son.
Kris unleashed her inner tiger mom in defending Erich who she considers one of her closest friends and a “daughter” in the show business.
“GET A LIFE & GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT!” Kris responded to the troll’s comment.
Kris said that the Sorianos, Paul and Toni, are “solid and happy”. She is close to the couple as she was their godmother during their wedding.
Kris also revealed that Erich has a “handsome and intelligent” suitor.
Rumors about Paul and Erich’s affair sparked when the director and the actress worked together for their Metro Manila Film Festival entry, Siargao.
However, another Instagram user advised the queen of all media to ignore bashers online.
“@krisquino Oh no! [Please] don’t waste your time answering back. Don’t feed the trolls – ignore them!… P.S. You claim to be a very smart woman and I believe you are. But this troll obviously outsmarted you today,” @rhodamacapagal wrote.
To which Kris responded: “When you let fake news & trolls proliferate – you strengthen them. And I know when to defend my loved ones.”
Kris also said that she would defend Erich the same way she would defend her sons, Josh and Bimb.
