Joey De Leon has established his rightful place in the entertainment industry. However, that does not stop bashers from attacking him online.
The “Eat Bulaga” host posted a group photo on his Instagram account with a caption on why he thinks celebrities are the main targets of online bashers.
“Basher One: Bakit ba puro artista’t celebrity binabash natin? Basher Two: Eh ano naman mapapala mo sa atin? (Basher One: Why do we always bash artists and celebrities? Basher Two: What would you get from bashing ourselves?),” he captioned the photo.
His followers on Instagram immediately applauded the comedienne for his candid photo caption.
Many times in the past, De Leon has also found himself in hot water for his insensitive and sometimes bigoted remarks.
He experienced online bashing after his tactless views on depression and his arguable Instagram post after Franco Hernandez’s death.
