Many overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) are making their way home to celebrate the holiday season with their families. Ironically, others need to brave sadness as they leave their loved ones days before Christmas to seek greener pastures abroad.
A young girl in the video below couldn’t hide her sadness as her dad bade goodbye last December 7. This means her joy on Christmas day would not be the same as other kids whose fathers are with them for Noche Buena.

Before leaving the car and making his way inside the airport terminal, the little girl kisses and embraced her dad tightly.
As can be seen in the video that the little girl was trying to hold back her sadness. But as soon as her dad left the car, the little girl stuck her hand on the car window and started to weep.
The video has already garnered almost 150 thousand views, and almost 5,000 reactions on Facebook.
Filipino netizens extended their empathy for the young girl, wishing that no more little children would have to experience the same thing in the future.
