You can bet Koreanovela fans are excited about the so-called “wedding of the century” in South Korea tomorrow.
Descendants of the Sun’s Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo, dubbed by netizens as the Song-Song couple, will be exchanging marriage vows tomorrow, Oct. 31, at the Shilla Seoul Hotel in Jangchung-dong, Seoul.
Two of Joong-ki’s friends will play an important role at the wedding, OSEN reported. Actor Park Bo-gum will play the piano during the ceremony while Running Man’s Lee Kwang-soo will be reading a letter to the bride and groom.
Lee’s agency King Kong Entertainment confirmed the actor’s attendance to the wedding.
According to Sports Chosun, actor Yoo Ah-in, who is in the same agency as Hye-kyo, will also read a letter to the newlyweds.
Fin.K.L singer Ock Joo Hyun, meanwhile, will be performing the nuptial song.
Around 250 relatives and friends will be invited to the private wedding.
The couple is slated to travel to Europe for their honeymoon and reside in Itaewon, Seoul eventually.
The two superstars fell for each other in 2015 during the shooting of the drama Descendants of the Sun, where they were the lead actor and actress.
They also won Asia’s Best Couple Award during the 2016 KBS Drama Awards.
