After being held in the Philippines, the most prestigious beauty pageant in the world, the universe rather, will return in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The coronation night will take place at The AXIS, Planet Hollywood, where Filipina beauty queen Pia Wurtzbach was controversially crowned as Miss Universe in 2015.
In the pageant’s Instagram post, the organization announced that Miss Universe will be held on November 26 on Fox Channel.
For the third time, American TV host and comedian Steve Harvey will host the pageant.
Iris Mittenaere of France is the reigning Miss Universe, the first French to have the title in 53 years.
British-Filipina Rachel Peters was chosen to represent the Philippines in the pageant.
