Pacquiao comments “Hello, call me anytime” on 2 women’s IG live video

Boxer turned senator Manny Pacquiao found himself on the receiving end of criticism for commenting on the Instagram livestream of an American vlogger and host on Friday, September 22.

Ciuffo is one of the hosts of Barstool Sports’ “Chicks in the Office”, an Instagram account “by girls, for girls, featured on a predominately male website”.

Pacquiao explained that they invited him to guest on their show in New York. But since he is in the Philippines, he told them to call him anytime to reschedule.

“Yes, ako ‘yun kasi gusto nila akong interview-hin. Ininvite nila ako do’n sa New York, sa radio station nila, and then sabi ko, ‘I am in the Philippines. I can’t come.’ So sabi ko, ‘You can call me anytime,'” ABS-CBN News quoted Pacquiao as saying on Thursday, September 28.

The senator also had to defend another comment on a 22-year-old American woman’s live video chat.

Twitter users shared screen grabs of Arzaylea Rodriguez’ Instagram video, where Pacquiao was seen to have commented “Hello” and “Where are you from?”
