Noven Belleza releases song for OFWs

Tawag ng Tanghalan champion Noven Belleza is restarting his music career with the intent to inspire overseas Filipinos to overcome homesickness.

The singing champion released his first single “Tumahan Ka Na”, showing the struggles faced by OFWs, working miles away from their families.

The singing champ said his new single is a song he’d like to dedicate to soldiers and the brokenhearted.

“Your family will always be there for you, whatever problems you have, whenever you’re at your lowest and weakest. I think a lot of people will relate to my songs. It will empower those who feel mistreated. If you feel disheartened, my songs may motivate you and give you strength,” Philippine Star quoted Belleza as saying.

Belleza hopes to bring back the feel of classic OPM through making timeless music that will touch the hearts of Filipinos for generations to come.

I think many of us miss the old OPM. The songs by April Boy Regino, Martin Nievera, and Rockstar. They resonated and stayed with us. I want to bring them back,” he added.

Belleza was arrested in July 16 after he performed in Vice Ganda’s concert in Cebu for alleged sexual harassment. Last month, the woman dropped the criminal case against the singer.
