Former ‘Voice PH’ Alisah Bonaobra wows judges in ‘X Factor UK’

She first made Filipinos awe of her voice during the second season of “The Voice Philippines” and now, Alisah Bonaobra is on her way to become an international superstar after she got four yeses in “X Factor UK”.

Bonaobra belted out Beyonce’s hit song “Listen” during her audition that made the judges in awe of her, especially Nicole Scherzinger who gave her a standing ovation and cried after her audition.

“I am crying because I come from very humble beginnings as well. You’re just gorgeous. You’re this tiny little thing with a voice given from God. This unbelievable gift blowing everybody away. I connect with you and everybody,” Scherzinger said.

Bonaobra told judge Simon Cowell that she wants to represent the Filipino community in the UK as she believes her talent in singing is world class.

She also dedicates her journey in the UK singing competition to her family who supported her trip to the country just to try her luck.

“I am only here because of my mother’s friend. They just contributed enough money for our plane ticket just to audition here in X Factor UK,” Bonaobra said.

She garnered good feedback from Scherzinger, Cowell, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne,

Bonaobra was a former contestant of “The Voice of the Philippines” back in 2015 under the team of Black Eyes Peas’ apl.de.ap.

She was the runner up for the competition with Jason Dy from Sarah Geronimo’s team hailed as the champion.
