Angelica Hale finishes 2nd in ‘America’s Got Talent’

PH’ bet Angelica Hale ended her stint at this year’s ‘America’s Got Talent’ with a second place finish.

Hale, 10, finished second to singing ventriloquist Darcy Lynne, who earned judge Mel B’s “golden buzzer” during her audition.

During the show’s final results show Thursday morning (Manila Time), Hale performed with fellow contestant Kechi and ‘American Idol’ winner Kelly Clarkson, singing the multi-awarded singer’s smash hit “What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Stronger.”

It seemed fitting for the pint-sized singer who at age four, contracted pneumonia, which caused  her kidney to fail. She underwent kidney transplant surgery five years ago after her mother, Eva, donated a kidney to save her life.

Hale was emotional, thanking everyone who supported her ‘AGT’ journey.

Thank you so much to all of you who have supported me on my my AGTjourney! This is only the beginning! I am literally the happiest girl in the world and nothing can take that away,” she said in a social media post.

Hale also announced that she’ll be joining Darci Lynne as she headlines a show in Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
