Former Eat! Bulaga star Julia Clarete clearly was not joking when she announced that she will stay out of the spotlight to focus on her personal life.
An Instagram post confirmed that the wedding bells have indeed rung, the vow’s been taken, and the cake’s been cut for Clarete and her long-term partner.
The couple, who were wed in Ballynahinch Castle Hotel in Ireland, tied the knots in a private event, just like how their engagement went.
Photographer Francis Perez congratulated the newly-wed and posted photo of “giddy in love” Clarete and McGeown.
“Congratulations Gareth and Julia. Thank you for the honest and endearing love that you share. [I] will forever remember you guys giddy in love like this,” Perez said on his Instagram account.
Clarete did not share much information on her wedding, including the date, but rumors about her marriage sparked when she posted a photo of a supposed wedding dress on Facebook on July 23.
The next day, the former EB host shared a news about her short film “Skit” with the caption “great wedding gift indeed”.
Clarete left Eat! Bulaga in 2016 to reside with McGeown and his son Sebastian in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
