All set for Mr. & Ms. Teen PID 2017 coronation

Among the most highly anticipated parts of every pageant are the casual wear portion, photogenic tilt and the talent show. A battle of skills, grace and poise has been increased for the search of specific talent.

The candidates for Mr. & Ms. Teen PID 2017, have been judged at a pre-pageant for these three major awards in the competition. The pre-pageant show was held on April 28, 2017 at the Epic Club, Capitol Hotel.

The casual wear outfit presented was a sure score of good marks as the candidates wore outfits of their choice in relevance to the theme and colors of Philippine flag.

The selection of “Miss Photogenic” was made by high-caliber photographers.

The highlights of the pre-pageant included the talent competition and the question and answer portion – an opportunity for the candidates to become confident.
Candidates and audience are looking forward to the Coronation Day which will be held on May 12, 2017 at the Dubai World Trade Center.

Meantime, six Pinoy bands survived the elimination process involving 14 semi-finalists to compete for the grand finals of the Battle of the Bands to be held also as part of celebrations of the Philippine Independence Day.

The jam-packed semi-finals took place at Club Vegas in Holiday Inn, Bur Dubai on April 28, 2017 at 2:30pm. The event was hosted by Madelle Echeveria and Roy Lance Japor. Full support was given by Consul General Paul Raymund Cortes with a special number done with SessionsDxb members.

The six finalists are Curious Juan, Electrocats, Herbalution, Pearlipinas, Primrose and TechPenz.

“Preparations for the 2017 Philippine Independence Day Celebrations came in a bit of challenging as we were only given 10 weeks to prepare,” said FILCLUB Chairman Engr. Tata Dayot.

“As a civil engineer, I have treated this as a wonderful challenge and actually applied my knowledge to strategize and carefully organize all the tasks at hand. Meticulously, I scheduled each assignment and segments, constantly using social media as a platform for spreading our invitation and continuously coordinating with the numerous numbers of organizations who have volunteered for this event,” Dayot said.
