Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach posting selfies on her Instagram page is nothing new, but in a particular snap uploaded this week, fans noticed that Queen P is sporting a huge diamond ring on her finger.
The photo which was a celebratory post for Asia’s Next Top Model kick-off party in Manila immediately sent fans into a frenzy asking if Wurtzbach is already engaged to her boyfriend, professional racer Marlon Stockinger.
“Is that an engagement ring?” one follower asked, followed by another one commenting “Look at that beautiful ring!”
Meanwhile, one follower pointed out that Wurtzbach was wearing the ring on her right hand unless she used a photo flipper to edit the picture. This, however, was countered by another follower saying: “I wear my engagement ring on my right hand, just saying!”
An engagement ring is traditionally worn on the left ring finger and then moved to the right ring finger, along with the wedding band, after getting married. But in some countries, people wear it on their right ring finger during the engagement.
The mystery came just after Wurtzbach and Stockinger made their relationship “official” in an episode of the ABS-CBN Sunday talk show “Gandang Gabi Vice.” The beauty queen has yet to respond to her Instagram followers.
