Spider-Man swings with Iron Man in brand new “Homecoming” trailer

Marvel Studios’ first take on Spider-Man in “Spider-Man: Homecoming” released its second trailer full of Marvel Cinematic Universe easter eggs for die-hard fans.

The upcoming iteration of the friendly neighborhood superhero played by Tom Holland teams up with Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) as they both come back to New York from the events of “Captain America: Civil War.”

With the movie taking on Peter Parker in high school, the trailer showed beats of the iconic character getting through middle school while also maintaining his secret hero identity.

However, one of the biggest takeaway from the latest teaser is the incident that would lead to Parker battling super villain Adrian Toomes a.k.a. Vulture (Michael Keaton).

The trailer peaks its climax when Peter tries to save a Staten Island ferry from the onslaught of Vulture when Stark flies in his Iron Man suit to help him.

Stark is not the only Avenger in “Homecoming.” Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) was also referenced in, with Peter telling his friend Ned Leeds (Fil-Am actor Jacob Batalon) that he stole Captain America’s shield during the iconic airport fight in “Civil War.”

“Spider-Man: Homecoming” will hit UAE theaters on July 6.
