Italians start their meal with a first course. Tease your appetite with some of the food items from the cold and hot bites menu. Since Italians are fond of fresh salads, Insalatina Di Tonno, a tuna meat mixed with olive oil, pepper friggitelli, sweet corn, tomato slices and red onion is a great appetizer. Add to that an order of Patate Al Forno, this roasted potato tossed with olive oil, parmesan cheese and fresh parsley is quite filling and satisfying. Just make sure you leave space for the main course.
800 Degrees has launched three main course meals that would surely suit the cravings of red and white meat lovers. The Baccola Acqua Pazza, is a cod fish fillet dish mix of tomatoes, garlic, and water, acqua pazza (“crazy water”). Agnello Al Forno, on the other hand, is a plateful of meaty and juicy lamb shanks. Then comes the wood oven roasted chicken Pollo Al Forno.
All three of these compliment their pasta classic best sellers. The creamy tomato Fettuccine Al Salmon and Fettuccine Al Porcini Mushroom are definitely not your usual pasta orders. According to the head chef, the latter has won their Pinoy customers. And if you are to ask, yes, the pasta are Al dente!
And of course, leaving an Italian restaurant without a dessert or shall we say a nutella is a big no-no. Try their famous, Nutella Pizza topped with fresh strawberries.
