Best food to bring on long road trips

It may be very tiring for some but for many, long road trips spells fun and adventure. For Filipinos, the best part in planning for a road trip is the food preparation, and the idea of what food to eat during the trip.
Here’s a list of all of healthy, all-natural pre-made snacks you can bring along for long drives. They are a fun treat, and easy to prepare to save you some serious pre-trip stress and best of all, they will never compromise your health.

Fruits and veggies (some veggies needs to be blanched or steamed before packing)
Cauliflower florets
Broccoli florets
Baby carrots
Edamame (soybeans in the pod)
Celery sticks
Cucumber
Orange
Grapes (seedless are preferred)
Apples
Strawberries (or any berries you prefer)
Bananas
Note: If you prefer to get your fruits and veggies in a different way than eating them raw, you can make them into smoothies, or have them in dried form but look for ones that are not mixed with sugar, flavoring, coloring, or preservatives. Or you can mix your fruits or veggies into salads.
Protein sources
Yogurt
Jerky (look for healthier version out here without much additives)
Almonds (any nuts you prefer)
Cheese
Hard-boiled eggs
Cheese crackers
Nut butter packets
Energy bars
Hummus (this could go with your cut-up veggies)
Kiddie Treats
Graham crackers

Whole grain cookies

Chocolate covered fruit or nuts
Fruit snacks (grab the organic ones for healthier option)
Whole grain dry cereal
Drinks
Water (NEVER forget to bring this)
Coconut water (this is especially good if you feel nauseated or feel carsick during long trips)
Juice boxes (look for ones that are sugar-free and no artificial colors or flavors)
Coffee drinks (not the healthiest of choices, but a few of these will help keep your driver awake)
Almond milk (soya milk if you prefer)
