Pinay gets second chance in ‘K-Pop Star 6’

Chrisha Choo, the Filipina teen who was part of Korean reality show “K-Pop Star” Season 6, has been given another shot at stardom when she was drawn as a wild card by the judges.

Choo was eliminated earlier after she made a mistake during the team performance category. The duo performed a mash-up of BTS’ “Blood, Sweat & Tears” and Black Pink’s “Whistle,” reported ABS-CBN News.

“Unlike other rounds, some of the contestants that were eliminated were as good as the ones who passed. In order to solve this problem, all judges get a wild card every year,” JYP Entertainment’s Park Jin-young reportedly said before announcing Choo’s name.

Since her audition, Choo has made an impression on the judges, with YG Entertainment’s Yang Hyun-suk expressing interest to sign her up, the report said.
