Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach has bumped into Venezeluan actor Fernando Carrillo who is famous for his role as Fernando Jose in the 1999 hit telenovela ‘Rosalinda’ in Las Vegas during Manny Pacquiao’s boxing match against Jessie Vargas.
Carillo was delighted to meet Pia and Manny Pacquiao.
“I met super cool Miss Universe and I told her ‘I love the Philippines,’ I am committed to help your country,” he captioned his selfie with the German-Filipino beauty queen. He posted another selfie with Wurtzbach on his Instagram account last Wednesday.
In his snap with the People’s Champ, Carrillo congratulated his recent victory, “Congratulations brother, friend, champion and Senator Manny Pacquiao in this new victory. A great man of God. My love for you and the family.”
Meanwhile, Pia first shared their photo via an Instagram story and some of her fans were quick to grab the photo and repost it in other social networking sites.
Coupled with the success of “Rosalinda” internationally, especially in the Philippines, the Venezuelan actor had visited the country a number of times to interact with his fans based here.
Carillo last visited the Philippines in 2012.
