DUBAI: Twitter world was stoked when Charlie Puth asked the Filipino-American actress Liza Soberano to attend his concert in Manila on August 14, 2016.
Puth, who is best known worldwide for his songs One Call Away and Marvin Gaye, admitted on his concert that the Dolce Amore leading lady caught his attention when he saw the Kapamilya actress once on television.
Charlie told the crowd how he invited Liza to his concert that is set for the promotion of his latest album “Nine Track Mind” which includes a collaboration of “Marvin Gaye” featuring Meghan Trainor and “We Don’t Talk Anymore” featuring Selena Gomez
“Apparently, I am attracted to this young actress Liza. I sent her an invite, I’m just saying I sent her an invite but she’s busy,” the singer said on Sunday. The crowd eventually cheered with excitement.
The Philippine Star reported that ahead of Charlie Puth’s performance on Sunday, he dubbed a scene on Snapchat from Liza Soberano’s movie, “Everyday I Love You.” The video was reposted by a fan and was retweeted by Liza.
Charlie Puth’s next stop for his Nine Track Mind worldwide tour is on August 16, 2016 at Xinyi District, Taipei City, Taiwan.
It can also be remembered that this is not the first time that an international artist is caught off guard by Liza’s charm. Last January, she also caught the attention of The Vamps’ lead guitarist James McVey.
