MANILA: Getting closer to the semi-finals, Davao native Joy Ammamio has claimed her third straight win on “Tawag ng Tanghalan”.
Ammamio scored 94 percent from the judges with her cover of Aretha Franklin’s “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman,” defeating Sixto Tolitol, Jr. by five points. Tolitol sang Jay R’s “Kung Mahal Mo Siya,” reported ABS-CBN News
Amamio will return to the “It’s Showtime” stage on Thursday, where she will seek her fourth win.
She needs five straight victories to advance to the semifinals of “Tawag ng Tanghalan,” the report said.
