Claudine Barretto wants to prove that she is not the kind of mother her estranged husband, actor Raymart Santiago, describes her to be.
Barretto said that if Santiago’s claims were true, her kids would not want to be with her. She also revealed that her eldest, Sabina, is a straight A student while the grades of her youngest, Santino, are above-average.
Barretto said she feels bad about what happened to her family, relating to their ongoing court case, and expressed hope that her problems soon come to pass.
Barretto, younger sister of fellow actress Gretchen Barretto, started her career as a child actress via the kiddie gag show, “Ang TV”in the 1990s.
She went on to earn great acclaim, garnering a slew of awards including several FAMAS wins as best actress.
Prior to marrying Santiago, she was linked to several of the industries’ hottest male actors including Mark Anthony Fernandez and the late Rico Yan.
