Actress Shaina Magdayao has denied reports linking her to Piolo Pascual, insisting that she is only “good friends” with the actor.
Rumors about Magdayao and Pascual making sweet music have been making headlines for some time already. It didn’t help that two were caught on cam holding each others’ hands during a recent showbiz event.
Magdayao didn’t deny the photo and was in fact candid enough to admit to the matter but she was also quick to insist that there was nothing malicious about it.
She explained that Pascual was merely assisting her so as she wouldn’t fall or trip. She added that Pascual is just naturally sweet.
Though she’s not closing her doors to the possibility of romance eventually blooming between them, Magdayao said that she’s not exactly looking for love right now as she could only focus on her work.
Magdayao will be part of the Richard Gomez-Dawn Zulueta soap opera “You’re My Home,” which is slated to air on ABS-CBN first quarter of 2014.
