Ten Filipino workers were injured when the bus they were riding on turned turtle along the Riyadh-Taif highway in Al Khasrah, Saudi Arabia.
OFW advocate Patnubay reported that the condition of all-women Filipino workers are stable, contrary to a report from an Arabic online media that one of them died.
They were all taken to Al Khasra General Hospital.
The workers came from Jeddah and were en route to Riyadh for their new job assignment from their company.
Sabq Online Newspaper reported that the bus was speeding, careened off course and turned upside down several times.
Nine of the 10 workers have been discharged. Only one remained at the hospital as she needed an operation for her leg fracture at Al-Quwai’iyah Hospital.
