MANILA: A batch of 51 distressed overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), who are mostly undocumented and runaway workers, arrived from Abu Dhabi, March 24.
The OFWs were flown from UAE via Philippine Airlines Flight PR 659 at 8:14 a.m, reported GMA News.
They were assisted by the Department of Foreign Affairs and repatriation team from the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), said the report.
OWWA offered temporary accommodations for those who will need to go home to far provinces.
