Filipino wins luxury motorcycle worth Php1M in Dubai raffle

A Filipino expat in Dubai was one of the lucky winners during the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise promotions held at Concourse B – Terminal 3 at the Dubai International Airport, February 26.

Dubai-based Gifanny Banal won an Indian Chief Vintage (Willow Green & Ivory) motorbike.

According to the online shopping website Cycle Trader, a brand new ndian Chief Vintage motorcycle costs $20,999 or Php1,093,029.

Her lucky ticket number 0625 was picked during the raffle.

Aside from Banal, Muhamed Aslam Arayilakath, a 31-year-old Indian accountant won the grand prize worth $1 million.

Arayilakath is the 139th Indian national to have won $1 million since the raffle’s inception in 1999.

He bought his winning ticket at The Irish Village Shop earlier this month and said that he still could not believe that he is now a millionaire.

Other winners include Indian national John Kurien John, who won an Audi R8 RWS V10 Coupe; Japanese Hirohito Murai, who took home a brand new Mercedes Benz S560; and Indian Bangara Manjeshwar Abdulla, who received a BMW R Nine T (Black) motorbike.
