LOOK: Mohamed bin Zayed sits in class on first day of school

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, sat in a Math and English class to celebrate the first day of school in the UAE.

H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed visited government-run Al-Asayel School in Abu Dhabi and decided to join the students in their Math and English  class by sitting in.

While in class, H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed interacted with other students and sat beside them to teach and learn, at the same time.


“A new academic year filled with positivity and optimism. My children, students, make sure that you learn from a certain science and knowledge while learning commitment to values ​​and good morals. Continue your educational journey with great diligence and perseverance,” H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed said on Twitter.

“We wish to make a better contribution to the educational process by promoting an environment that is conducive to learning, thinking and creativity. We look forward to the continuous and effective contribution of society and families to follow up our students and encourage them to achieve their aspirations and dreams,” H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed added.

Earlier, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, welcomed students in a number of Dubai schools during first day of school on Sunday, September 10.

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid visited Al Maktoum Primary School for Boys where he interacted with the children and inspected some of the classes then headed to the Jumeirah Model Girls School.

“The beginning of the school year is starting a new active community life. A life driven by teachers and are made by the students. Positive energy is given to every community,” H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid said in a Twitter post.
