Filipinos in Abu Dhabi find time to visit aircraft engineer Ricardo Adriano, 57 who fell ill and was rushed to Universal Hospital last October 7. The engineer, along with his wife, Sylvia, have been known in the community for their advocacy for distressed fellow Filipinos, having been part of the group that provides luggage to wards at the embassy’s POLO-OWWA section due for repatriation but don’t even have bags for their belongings.
“This couple has been helping us by giving donations such as luggage to our wards at POLO all this time. They have been giving selflessly and quietly. That is why when I personally heard that the husband fell ill, we immediately arranged for a visitation, to show them our support,” said Madame Yoko Ramos-Vingno, spouse of Ambassador Constancio R. Vingno, Jr.
