Job Description


Clean the Club working to the cleaning schedules provided. Be aware of areas that become dirty and require extra attention and work with colleagues to ensure these are cleaned quickly.
Ensure the changing room & toilet areas are checked regularly as per cleaning schedule, paying attention to restocking soaps & toilet rolls and shower areas, floors, tiles and cubicle doors.
Use chemicals safely and effectively as trained, using the correct chemicals for each job as per the cleaning schedule.
Use all cleaning equipment and machinery effectively as trained, using the correct equipment for each job as per the cleaning schedule.
Check all areas of the gym regularly as per cleaning schedule and complete tasks as found using own initiative to prioritize the more urgent jobs that affect the members most.
Work closely with colleagues, communicate effectively and support all other gym team members.
Act in a supportive and friendly way towards gym members.
Ensure that club members and guests receive an efficient, friendly, consistent and personalized service and all areas of the gym are at the highest levels of cleanliness.
Ensure any equipment faults, failure or maintenance issues are identified and reported to the manager, as soon as discovered.
Ensure you follow all health and safety regulations as trained, comply with legal & gym requirements and that rules are observed by yourself, team members, members and guests to well-being when using the gym.


Strong customer awareness and focus with lots of experience of working with people
Conscientious and flexible to suit the hours (various shift patterns) & needs of the department.
Good communication skills to effectively deal with customers.
A positive ìcan-doî attitude and a strong work-ethic.
At least one yearsí experience in a similar position required.
