Overall Job Description:

Actively follow and promote the ADT Safety and Security policies and ensure that fellow employees and visitors are doing the same. These policies are to be always followed within the port environment so as to ensure a safe and secure workplace for all.
To establish continuous communication with Asst. Supervisor – Yard during stacking/grounding operations to avoid confusion or disruptions.
Report to the Asst. Supervisor ñ Yard and ensure that he collects his duty assignments and tasks for yard operations. To sort and move containers in container terminals in a timely and organized manner.
To handle containers independently, by differentiating between boxes and transporting them to yard and quayside location to avoid disruptions or accidents.
To stack containers within the allocated stacking areas in the yard or container terminal in a safe and effective manner.
RMG Operator

To operate safely and efficiently the cranes in the yard thereby ensuring smooth movement of container in the yard.
To coordinate with the planning section yard supervisor and foreman for instructions on positions or areas to stack containers.
Straddle Carrier

Report to the equipment and login to the VMT, ensuring that he enters his correct Identification Number for tracking of equipment during operations.
To sort and move containers throughout the container terminal in a timely and organized manner.
Park the Straddle Carrier at the right Yard location and ensure hand over to relieving operator.
Reporting to supervisor regarding any damage to equipment, containers and/or any other safety hazards.
Working and coordinating with supervisors and managers regarding unloading and loading operations.
Empty Container Handler (ECH)/ Reach Stacker (RS)/ Forklift (FL)

Organizing and securing stored materials such as bales, super sacks, boxes, pallets, and so on.
Loading or unloading materials manually, off or on to pallets, platforms, skids, or lifting devises.
Performing routine post and pre-inspections to ensure suitable working nature or forklift equipment
Reporting to supervisor regarding any damage to racks, faulty equipment, or any other safety hazards.
Education and Experience:

Requires a high school diploma and additional vocational/technical education.

Minimum (05) years of experience within a Port in a similar position with Heavy Equipment license

Key Duties:
Knowledge in Radio Skills.
