Our client, one of the leading consulting firm in UAE requires Accountant ñ Payroll Services for their operations in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate should have at least 2- 4 years of experience in the said role or any related field.

Duties and responsibilities:
Responsible for the preparation and processing of payroll for client employees;
Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
Responsible for the coordination efforts between payroll, human resources, budget and other departments of clients to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data
Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, travel, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers.
Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, sickness, and nontaxable wages.
Determines payroll liabilities by calculating employee federal and state income and social security taxes and employerís social security, and workers compensation payments
Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests.
Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Ensure that all industry standards accounting laws are followed
Send suggestions to the Director regarding the issues that affect the payroll accounts

Skills Required:
Bachelorís degree in accounting or business-related field.
Two-four years of experience in accounting
Certificate in any professional accounting body would be an added advantage
Have an eye for detail and accuracy.
Good computer skills: MS Word, Excel, any Accounting softwareís
Mastery over numbers and being quick with numerical calculations
Have a high level of integrity, as they will know about the earnings of many employees; confidentiality.
Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure
