Kapuso actor Paolo Contis has confirmed his relationship with actress Yen Santos but was quickly to deny that the latter was the cause of split between him and LJ Reyes.
Contis made the revelation in his interview with Boy Abunda.
“Is she your girlfriend?,” Abunda asked.
“Yes,” Contis replied.

“Sa amin kasi, what you see is what you get naman. Hindi namin pwede ipilit ‘yung tao to be happy for us. Sana lang isipin nila na kung ano lang ‘yung nakikita nilang na-post, ‘yun lang ‘yung truth na alam nila,” he added.
Contis said that he was no longer with Reyes when he and Yen started dating. The actor however admitted that he made mistakes in the past that led to the break up with Reyes.
“Somehow, medyo matagal na kaming hindi OK ni LJ pero we were together, of course. Napapadalas ‘yung away and I think it was combination na ng stress sa pandemic and everything,” he said.
“One of my biggest mistakes was hindi ko inalala ‘yung mental health ni LJ. Plus ‘yung pagdidiskarte ko nang sarili ko, na hindi ko na ini-inform sa kanya ‘yung mga bagay-bagay, which led to bigger problems,” he added.
Contis and Yen made headlines when they teamed up for the film ‘A Faraway Land’ in 2021.
