Malacañang announced that the existing alert levels in Metro Manila and in other provinces will remain status quo for now as the IATF will meet and review the system next week.
Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles made the announcement in a message to reporters on Saturday.
“The status quo holds for our alert levels, which the IATF will be reviewing on Monday (July 18),” Angeles said.

Metro Manila and other provinces are under Alert Level 1, the lowest alert status during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Under this alert level, no restrictions will be imposed in terms of travel and all establishments, persons, or activities, are allowed to operate subject to minimum public health standards.
