Yousef Mubarak, Director of IPR Department at Dubai Customs reportedly said that they are cooperating with the Brand Owners Protection Group (BPG) to check sale of counterfeit goods and to protect the environment.

The measures are also helping out brand owners to check unfair competition as they register their trademarks at Dubai Customs for genuine products.

The recycled goods included counterfeit goods of international brands like women’s bags, watches, accessories and clothes.
