The National Bureau of Investigation or NBI has tracked down the hacker who used Senator Win Gatchalian’s credit card that transacted at least P1 million from it.
The suspect was identified as Julius Anacin. He was apprehended in Cavite on Wednesday.
Upon serving the search warrant, authorities yielded computers & several sim cards.

Anacin says he used a phishing website to get credit card numbers, security codes & expiration numbers. It did not include names. At first, he was not aware that it was Gatchalian’s card.
The 24-year-old suspect was a computer science student in Cavite.
Anacin admits that hacking is his pastime. He has asked for forgiveness from the senator and vows never to do it again.
