POGO prohibited during Philippine community quarantine

The Philippine government did not allow Philippine Online Gaming Operations or POGO to operate while the entire region of Luzon is under enhanced community quarantine.
Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles made the announcement on Tuesday while providing the details of the guidelines for the quarantine that took effect after midnight.

The issue on POGOs is widely discussed and debated with Senator Risa Hontiveros in a presentation that linked the operations to illegal recruitment, illegal detention, and sexual harassment.
President Rodrigo Duterte, on the other hand, did not agree on the proposed ban, as he did not believe the operations are linked to corrupt practices.
