Survey: Majority of Filipinos say it’s better ‘to give’ than ‘to receive’

Majority or at least 76% of Filipinos believe that it’s ‘better to give’ this Christmas season according to the latest survey of the Social Weather Stations released this December 2019.

23% of Filipinos on the other hand believe that it’s ‘better to receive’ this Christmas.

The survey was conducted from December 13-16, 2019 using face-to-face interviews of around 1,200 adults.

Another survey’s findings reveal that four out of five (79%) adult Filipinos expect happy Christmas.

2% of Filipinos on the other hand said that they are expecting it to be a sad one.

Some 19% of Filipinos said that their Christmas will be neither happy or sad.

The 79% who are expecting a happy Christmas is the highest since the record-high of 82% back in 2002.
