A godfather has come up with an unusual way to give Christmas gifts to his godchildren: a spinning wheel pretty much like the ones you see on TV game shows.
Facebook user Wilmark Cui uploaded the video of his makeshift roulette with a caption: “Mga inaanak, ready na si ninong. Asan na kayo! Dahil galante si ninong, kung anong makuha nyo sa roleta ay syang bibigay ni ninong,” he wrote on his caption.
He decorated it with Philippine currency bills that ranges from P20 up to P1,000.
However, here’s the catch.
The pin at the center of the roulette only stops at P20.
Facebook users were mostly amused at this idea.
Some say that they would copy it and use it as one of their games for their Christmas Party.
There are some who said that the ninong is “kuripot” or ungenerous for only giving P20.
One netizen Alaine Samson Austria said being a godfather is not measured by the money or gifts he gives to his godchild.
Cui’s post has been shared 120,000 times on Facebook and has gained more than 4 million views, as of this writing.
