Kapuso star Alden Richards is definitely on a roll.
After his successful stint in the blockbuster film ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’ with Kathryn Bernardo, the actor bagged an international award in South Korea.
The Kapuso actor was honored with the Asian Star Prize at the 14th Seoul International Drama Awards on Wednesday.
Richards received an award intended for Asian talents that are very well appreciated by Korean audiences.
In his speech Richards said that is grateful for this international recognition.
“As a Filipino, I am very humbled and grateful to be recognized in the international scene, along with so many amazing and talented artists here tonight,” Richards said.
The actor also added that the award was extra special because the Philippines is celebrating seven decades of friendship with South Korea.
“This award is extra special because it comes at a time when we are celebrating 70 years of friendship between the Philippines and South Korea,” he said.
The annual festival brings together all professionals in TV drama and media industry.
This is Richard’s second international award.
