Pinay scammer who bagged P400M arrested in Davao

A Filipina scammer who allegedly carted away millions of peso fell in the hands of authorities last Wednesday, January 17, in Davao City.

The 26-year-old accused, identified as Maria Elma Grace Castillo Corona, was arrested in an entrapment operation conducted in a fastfood chain.

Corona went to Davao to get another money worth P1-million from her supposed victim. Little did she know that the supposed victim was part of the police plot to net her.

After receiving the money, authorities immediately arrested and brought her to the station, reported ABS CBN News.

Authorities said that Corona’s modus is to lure people to invest in her lending business that promises to double their money in return.

She was able to bag not less than P400-million from all her victims.
