A GCC national motorist was nabbed by the police for faking his plate number and causing road accident in Abu Dhabi, reported Gulf News.
According to Brigadier Mohammed Dhahi Al-Humairi, Director of the Abu Dhabi Traffic Department, the 24-year-old motorist violated the law by changing car number plates from one vehicle to another.
After receiving reports about the incident, the Abu Dhabi police chased after the motorist. The chase had caused road accident.
Police immediately arrested him and impounded his vehicle.
The motorist will be fined Dh20,000 (P276,785.68 approx.) if found guilty.
