WATCH: OFW from UAE loses her belongings at NAIA 3

An overseas Filipino worker (OFW) from the UAE complained that her luggage was pilfered at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) 3.

Her friend, Belle Cordero, posted a video on social media to express her disappointment.

In the video that was reposted by Pilipino Star Ngayon on Thursday, Cordero said that the luggage was already wrapped in plastic before it was checked-in to avoid being looted or the ‘tanim bala’ ploy.

When they retrieved the luggage, she said the bags were already opened and the plastic that was used to wrap them was already inside.

Cordero said that some of her friend’s belongings were stolen, including a watch, a speaker, and some clothing items.

The Filipina vented her frustrations over the handling of their belongings at the airport and reminded OFWs to be more mindful of their check-in baggage when they return home to the Philippines.

Just a week ago, a similar incident happened at the Clark International Airport, wherein an OFW named Jovenil dela Cruz lost his belongings worth P84,000.
