More than P3M taken away from OFW in Pasay robbery

More than P3 million worth of gadgets and jewelries was taken away from an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) after a robbery incident in a hotel in Pasay, Tuesday, January 2, 2018.

According to investigation, four armed men stormed into The Mabuhay Manor Hotel around 3 in the morning. The perpetrators were also able to bag the hotel’s income for that day worth P33,000.

The suspects fled using a black Hyundai Starex going Roxas Boulevard, leaving 50 hotel guests safe.

Police said that they are still verifying if the armed men’s target was the hotel’s vault.

They are also looking into possibility that it was an inside job, as they are questioning why only one security guard was stationed during the incident.

National Capital Region Police Chief Director Oscar Albayalde already ordered a manhunt operation to the four suspects.
