DUBAI: Chillout Productions has announced the first act to headline the 16th edition of the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival 2018. The organizers has confirmed that the world renowned British rock band Duran Duran is set to hit the main stage on the first day of the festival, taking place at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre between the 21st and 23rd of February 2018.
Expect the band to perform both fan favorites and monster-hit singles from throughout their career alongside songs from their most recent, Top 10 charting record, Paper Gods. Fans can enjoy Early Bird Promo from December 6, 12:00 PM until December 8, 12:00 PM exclusively from www.dubaijazzfest.com.
Much of the band’s sound and style has inspired and been adopted by many of today’s top pop, indie and electro-rock outfits, yet decades into their career, Duran Duran is still going strong and show no signs of slowing down. Released on Warner Bros. Records, the band’s 14th studio album Paper Gods sees the band collaborating with a host of A-list talent including Nile Rodgers, Mark Ronson, Mr Hudson, Janelle Monáe, John Frusciante, Kiesza and Davide Rossi.
