Dubai Police Stunt Team to set Guinness world record for longest ATV wheelie

The route will begin in Ghantoot and continue down Sheikh Zayed Road to the doors of the Dubai Motorbike Festival hosted at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) totaling an impressive 60km.

DUBAI: The upcoming Dubai Motorbike Festival is set to make a Guinness world record attempt with Dubai Police for the longest wheelie on an all-terrain vehicle (ATV).

Capt. Abdulla Al Hattawi popularly known as Abdulla Hollandi, a member of the Dubai Police Force, Dubai Police Stunt Team and one of the top ATV stunt athletes in the world is gearing  to break the record for the longest wheelie on an ATV, which stands at 50km.

The attempt will be made during the Dubai Motorbike Festival on January 12, 2018, opening the motorcycle exhibition for the weekend.

The route will begin in Ghantoot and continue down Sheikh Zayed Road to the doors of the Dubai Motorbike Festival hosted at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) totaling an impressive 60km.

When he is not competing in motorcycle stunt tournaments abroad, Capt. Al Hattawi is a senior official in the Dubai Police responsible for training the Dubai Police Special Forces.

His Excellency General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police said, “We at Dubai Police extend our full support to Capt. Abdulla Al Hattawi in his attempt to break this Guinness World Record.”

A convoy of patrol cars and motorcycles from Dubai Police will be following Al Hattawi while doing his bid along with bikers from motorbike clubs within the UAE and around the region gathering together to support the attempt and the Dubai Motorbike Festival, making this a must-see and historic event.

“I’m excited to be working as part of the Dubai Police Stunt Team and with the Dubai Motorbike Festival on this Guinness World Record Attempt. I’m very confident that I can break the existing record and would be proud to break another Guinness World Record for Dubai Police and Dubai,” said Al Hattawi

The world record attempt will take place in Dubai on Friday, Jan. 12, 2018 at 8am.

All motorcycle riders and clubs are invited to support the world record attempt by joining the motorcycle parade that will be following the Dubai Police convoy alongside Abdullah Hollandi. For more information and to register email [email protected]

Co-located with the 3rd edition of the Extreme Sports Expo the Dubai Motorbike Festival will feature the big names in the industry, attracting all the adrenaline seekers and bikers from the UAE and neighboring countries.

Admission is Dhs30 per day, Dhs40 for a weekend pass and children under 12 are free. Show hours are 10am to 10pm on Friday and 10am to 9pm on Saturday.
