A househelp is the “primary person of interest” in a homicide incident involving another househelp in Quezon City, according to police.
The young maid left her employer’s house a day before fellow maid Analiza Garde, 44, was found dead with around 10 stab wounds in the house’s basement Sunday, police said.
Subdivision security guard Benjamin Bautista said the young maid’s employer allowed her to return to Negros Occidental because she was sick.
The young maid also purportedly claimed that Garde left work before she did.
“May binanggit siya na, actually, nauna na ngang umalis iyong kasama niyang katulong gabi pa ng Friday. Dis-oras ng gabi,” GMA News quoted Bautista as saying.
The employer said he found Garde’s belongings at a compound behind their house and blood stains on bedsheets in the room shared by Garde and the young maid.
Police are still investigating the matter.
