No paper ticket to visit Dubai Frame

Dubai Frame which is set to open in November will have a paperless ticketing system, said Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director-General of Dubai Municipality.

“The frame is almost complete. We expect to complete it by the end of October. In November, the project will be able to open officially,” Gulf news quoted Lootah as saying.

The project’s official opening date will be decided based on the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai.

The project is called Dubai Frame, since it’s in the form of a frame, with two towers connected by a bridge at the top of the towers.

The bridge serves as an observatory providing uninterrupted views of Old Dubai to the north, and New Dubai to the south.

It’s expected to attract nearly 2 million tourists a year!
