A Filipina employee has been arrested for stealing from a beauty salon in Salmiya area, Kuwait, Arab Times reported on Wednesday, September 27.

According to the report, the Kuwaiti owner of the salon was unaware of the crime, until she counted the day’s earnings and discovered that KWD550 was missing from the cash register.

Since the owner installed CCTV cameras inside the salon, she was able to catch the culprit: the Filipina was reportedly seen on CCTV opening the cash register and stealing the said amount.

Authorities from the Ministry of Interior rushed to the salon after they were informed and arrested the suspect.
