A 77-year-old woman was found dead in Baguio CIty on September 19 after an alleged thief hit her with a hard object.
Lourdes Abalos-Teodoro’s child and grandchildren found her lying on the floor inside their house, ABS-CBN reported.
Police reports showed that the house’s vault was destroyed, which suggests that the attacker’s motive was theft.
They also reported that P40,000 worth of cash and P500,000 worth of jewelries are missing.
Investigators are currently studying the footage of the CCTV camera in the area to identify suspects in the crime.
